Olivetti Programma 101 -1967.

Programming directly on the keyboard, programs was recorded on magnetic cards. A program library including trigonometric functions, surveying, statistics, mortgage plans etc was available. Price in Sweden was 21.000 SEK.

Technical data: Less than 1 kb program and data memory: room for 120 instructions and 6 registers, 30 digits each. The memory was a piano wire delay line.
No integrated circuits was used, only descrete transistors, diodes etc.
Output was presented on a fast, 30 column drum printer.

Kenneth Palmestål was hired by Olivetti in Göteborg in March 1967, responsible for sales in west and south Sweden.

WANG 700 - 1969

Programming directly on the keyboard, programs was recorded on tape cassettes. Trigonometric and other functions on special keys. A program library including surveying, statistics, economy etc was available. Price in Sweden was SEK 34.000.

Technical data: 1 kb magnetic core memory:
Integrated circuits was used.
Numeric output was presented on two rows of NIXIE tubes. An IBM typewriter modified with solenoids was used as printer.

Kenneth Palmestål was hired by Mårten Stenhardt AB, distributor for WANG, in1968 to set up an office in Göteborg, handling sales in west and south Sweden.

!969 WANG opened their own office in Stockholm and Palmestål was hired by WANG.
